Flow With Me

Go from a human being doing yoga to a human being yoga.

- Baron Baptiste

Hi! I’m Steph. Thanks for stopping by!

I believe in trying to live my best life.

For me, that means cultivating strength of body and mind, connecting deeply with others, and staying fully present to the wonder of life. Yoga and meditation are just a couple of tools that help me find my way, and I love sharing them with others.

I’m a RYT-500 certified teacher with training in Fluid Yoga, Chromatic Yoga, and mindfulness-based practices. My work has been shaped by mentors such as Jacqui Bonwell, Johnny Gillespie, Rolf Gates, Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, and George Mumford, along with MBSR training. These studies inform the way I teach: grounded, mindful, and deeply connected to the body.

  • “Stephanie's presence, intention, and tremendous ability to genuinely nurture and give makes her teaching special and extremely transformational. Her energy is contagious, deeply supportive, and grounding. She knows how to take even the most complex subject matter and make it seem approachable, doable, and tangible. She has an incredible ability to move her students, shift their perspectives about life in a relatable and inspirational way, leaving them with a profound experience with anything she offers.”

-Rebecca Doring, Meditation Teacher and Inner Fulfillment Coach

  • “Stephanie's yoga and meditation leadership at Temple Beth Shalom have inspired deep peace. For many years, Stephanie has movingly led our weekly Friday morning "Pre-Shabbat Yoga" series. This past year, she brought her meditative guidance to our Shabbat evening services as, each month, she led a beautiful, calm-inducing meditation during our prayer experience. Stephanie's natural warmth and authentic spirit, combined with her extensive training, enable followers to feel safe and held as she invites us to focus upon breathing, our bodies, and quieting of the mind. Stephanie leads with her heart and, in doing so, moves the soul!”

    - Rabbi Jay Perlman

  • "I have had the pleasure of knowing Stephanie for almost 20 years and can attest to her incredible expertise as both a yoga instructor and meditation leader. Over the years, I have learned so much from her, but her skills transcend what a typical instructor provides. She is one of the kindest and most accepting people I have ever known, and her warmth shines through in all aspects of her life, including her spiritual practice. A true beacon of light and positivity, I always leave her classes feeling nurtured, as if I have been gifted with some of her own inner peace and tranquility. She is a beautiful person, and I am fortunate to have her in my life as both teacher and friend."

    - Marcy

  • "I look forward to Stephanie’s yoga class every week. I always feel better at the end of class compared to when I walked in the room. Stephanie has a gift for leading all levels within the same class so everyone feels supported and part of the community. It is a wonderful gift that my path crossed with hers.”

    - Deb

  • "Over two years ago I was lucky enough to find Stephanie to lead a weekly group yoga class. From the beginning she was flexible with the planning of the program. She was open to all of our suggestions and questions and responded patiently and professionally. She adjusted her teaching to our needs and capabilities. Her classes are varied and well organized and the time goes by quickly. It has been a pleasure to work with her. She is a gem!”
